Installing A Front/dump Pipe & Cat

how hard is it to install a front/dump pipe (BATMBL) and Cat by yourself or with a mate if i had stands??

anyone here done it???

ive got gaskets for between the cat and pipes, but would i need something for between the turno and dump?

Pretty easy, I just used the original turbo gasket. As long as you've got the tools you'll be fine.

spray alot of wd40 onto the nuts and bolts,

exspecially at the turbo,

spray heaps heaps heaps of wd40 and leave it there for awhile.

while undo the bolts, if it doesnt feel rite, STOP and spray more wd40.

else if u snap the bolts, then its heaps harder!

trust me,

been there!

just be careful dont snap any bolts, then its pretty easy job!

I just got mine done by my mechanic yesterday, they had some issues with some bolts (size wise), no issues with snapping. yer they just soaked the shit out of it with wd 40 and let it soak for a few hours. make sure you do it when your exhaust is cold.

Its an easy job but yeh be carful and dont snap a bolt or else it will be a big job.

it's not necessarily easily. Nothing ever bolts straight up. e.g. sometimes they'll be slightly out of alignment.

You'll also need a grinder to enlarge the bracket that holds the cat/frontpipe etc.
