if u've only got the one it woulda just shut the engine down correct? (thats the arguement between running a single massive pump compared to multiple pumps, if one fails in a multi set-up then ur facing lean outs, whereas in a single setup the engine just dies) well thats how i understand it lol

yeah thats what i would think, be like cutting power to the fuel pump, might run lean for a few sec then stall.

Yeah I dont think it would hurt too much, but if the rubber pipe cracked it would of lost pressure and then I would lean out, but its all good now, fingers crossed, as it securely attached. the little filter bag had lots of junk on it so I cleaned that and bought a new filter and replaced it as well. So hears hoping I get no more pinging, which I suspect was the dirty filter.
