no no i mean wats the equivalent turbo in the garrett range i.e 3040R

HKS only come into their own with hi boost and big power, otherwise the garretts are just as good. and quite frankly, if u want to pay the extra couple grand for the 'better' hks then go ahead :)

Lies the GTRS isnt exactly Hi power....it still creams all the others....If I decide the good turbo route i will go the GTRS...if I go the tight route I will go the GT30...and I bet that results are similar despite the size difference but with the GTRS easier to fit and with better response! The HKS is always worth it when comparing the real deal to direct equivelents and it has been proven time and time again, Wheel aerodynamics is everything

I believe it is the gt3071R or gt3076r....its hard to compare because they work in different ps rating ranges. Like you say though, the difference really starts on higher boost applications however i have still noticed differences on relativley low boost.

there's no point comparing anything unless its on EXACTLY the same engine (one turbo off n second turbo on same engine), no 2 engine's are built the same & no 2 cars are tuned the same

andy any luck getting the clutch off troy? cant get the hoist, so on the floor it is :P
