yep got the IXUS60 - the sales guy tried to hit them up with the 65... but she stuck with the 60

HAHAHA Knew that they would... Cause that what i tell them to do... >_<

Just shows my training actually sinks into their heads...

As i said the best bit is its a camera that is international so its great for travelers and they will never have to ring you and ask you questions as its a simple on/off point/shoot...

Its old people friendlly and its the same model I got for my parents also...

Yeah and thats why it broke so easy...

But I did put 3m alloy plate reinforcing behind the bar, but it just ripped the pop rivets out and all...

Quite messy and just adds to the list of things that I have dmagaed while doing this build... >_<

yeah i am thinking of fitting a front mount but i wanna get the bar done before i do it, just looking into options atm. i really want to know who this bar is from or is it a custom job??

Other than that the cutting of the front bar is the longest process as i was very particular about getting it all even and cermetrical...

It also had to be cut with a mini grinder 4 inch wheel this way I could get perfect clean lines...

I put the front mount on first and then modified the bar after the cooler was on... So i could shave it perfectlly...

You need to be carefull when cutting the bar that you dont chip the paint...

yeah i dont wanna cut it though, i was thinking of getting it moulded once cut out kind of how erin used to have her bar on her 33. ( if u remember)

i agree with u daz, im hopefully getting my front mount installed soon, (still sitting in box in garage) and im getting paranoid about what the bars going to turn out like, i dont want to cut any of it >_<

Well you cant cut into the car so you have to cut into the bar...

yeah i will cut up the front bar but i want it to be neat still and front bar is in need of a paint anyway, si if i get it modifed then il just get it resprayed or, other option is get a bodykit with front bar to suit? i like a few of them, but how strong are the aftermarket fibreglass front bars and even though they might have a cut out for the frontmount to show, does it mean it will fit behind it?

I reckon stick to what you got now and just cut it...

Go and buy a 4 inch plastic cutting disc for youe angle grinder and make out the cuts with a ruler before cutting...

Its a long process to get it perfect i think we spent 3 hours on mine to get it right...
