sup b!tch

when u want that clutch done biatch?

after i get my final tune next week. i'm just waiting for that....

plus i'm feeling lazy to drive out to ipswitch he he he...

i will organise with you soon.

it'd make more sense (and prolly save u some money/hassle) if u get the new clutch in before u get the final tune, caus if the clutch slips on the dyno, u'll need to replace it and then get it tuned again

plus i want to see the blue monster :)

I think this is a good idea to some extent, but in saying that, the Government needs to provide a place where young drivers CAN drive fast (I know you can already do this at Eastern Creek, but I'm saying this more in relation to the Qld Government, because if NSW gets this proposal passed you can bet Qld will be very quick in following suit).

nahh

takes qld 5yrs to bring in anythin nsw thinks up

it shouldn't slip i dont think i have that much power sumthing like 220+rwkws is what i'm hoping for but in reality i'll prolly only get 200. were only running 1 bar of boost.

lol NSW couldn't handle QLD having possibly the toughest P plate restrictions as of July...I think QLD will follow suit, eventually. It'll take them time though. Look how long its taken to get them this far and we'll be working through a "phase in" period for a while too, seen as the new laws only affect people obtaining licenses after July 1. Agree with a lot of things they're doing, but I think they need to look at the wider picture and take some notice of the statistics that "they" are taking. There are only about 10-20 deaths difference per year between the age group of 17-25 and 26-39 out of 350 deaths. So whats the problem?? Its not all about being a p plater and high performance cars! Its all propaganda really. They only show what they want to show on the news to get through the laws they want. Its easier to blame p platers for the road fatalities, because I don't see a 30 year old being very happy about adhering to restrictions of driving. I've seen plenty of 30yo's doing the same crap, if not worse than 19yo's. Not to mention the governments stats back me up.

The funniest of everthing is the "christmas road toll" count. Its the biggest load of crap i've ever seen, anyone who knows anything knows that we basically just have the same average over that period, a little more because of increased driving. The reason we have more people getting caught and the police being so "disgusted" is because there are more police out on the road trying to catch more people to fill more revenue using double points, double fine as the means.

IMO more training would be proffered over more fines!! Stop winging and do something about it. But then again what do they do with their budget when they cant foresee an increase in fines for the next year? I guess they'd have to find money elsewhere.

/end rant.

i totally agree. the thing that really rubs me up the wrong way, is hearing older people whinge and complain about us 'younger drivers'. its revenue raising plain and simple.

well heres an interesting couple of facts

- women aged 40-59 have more road accidents ending in fatality then any

other age group of women, including p platers.

- The National Road Safety Strategy (NRSS) says that the most important thing to do in order to start curving the death toll is to improve the roads (showing it would save 700 lives), followed by improving the safety of cars (332 lives), then improving driver behaviour (175 lives) and finally adopting safer technology already avaliable into a wider range of cars available for sale (158 lives).

 where do they get the numbers from??

would fixing the road be nice.......

then people could speed more cos the road is so nice to drive on. he he he :)

the real problem is educating drivers properly, not restricting them. kids are still gonna drive fast cars. there is a loophole in the p plate restrictions scheme. you can only drive a high performance car if it is your parents or family members and pay an extra $20 or something to be listed on that vehicle. WTF?!?!?!

Yeh I'm with Matt on this..."holiday road tolls" are just rubbish. The actual figures are exaggerated by Person A being involved in an accident on the way to the local store. The figures don't truly represent the number of fatalities of people who are actually on holidays

Yeh I found some vehicles which are not on the list in NSW. For example a P plater can drive the 3.0 Z4 which now has 195kw but they cannot drive the Z4 M which has the M3 engine which cranks out 252kw...

FYI the 3.0 Z4 is also over the kw limit for NSW...idiots

are you sure that this is correct for the QLD restrictions in place for introduction July 1 2007? I don't think thats right.

its just a quick fix to make it look like they are actually doing something instead of actually fixing the problem. if they just educated drivers on how to drive better instead of saying here's your licence have fun, they would stop most of the problems.

just a bunch of idiots who have no idea what they are going on about. i've been thinking about going to one of the shows like today tonight or something and complaining. people usually listen to those shows (then again most people are idiots)
