professional in that case would mean someone whos made a name for themselves in photography and does it for a living.

a professional is someone who has ALL the equipment and can bring out the best in an image. if you compare them to a hobbyists, then you can see the difference. its always the slightest things that make the bigger difference. just my opinion is all

i aint all that interested in goin out an buyin myself a 20g camera just as the base along with another 10k in lenses, etc....

im happy with my $700 camera and $300-$400 in lenses i've spent.

this is a hobby and with that amount already spent on the camera which i wont be gettin back at all, i aint goin to call myself a 'professional'.

but i do know that from what i have seen in my own photos dude... they've turned out better then what i've taken before and like i said, there are a million angles to take a photo of a car.

i aint all that interested in goin out an buyin myself a 20g camera just as the base along with another 10k in lenses, etc....

im happy with my $700 camera and $300-$400 in lenses i've spent.

this is a hobby and with that amount already spent on the camera which i wont be gettin back at all, i aint goin to call myself a 'professional'.

but i do know that from what i have seen in my own photos dude... they've turned out better then what i've taken before and like i said, there are a million angles to take a photo of a car.

I had a client once, who used to shoot for national geographic and numerous surf mags, over $800k worth of gear. Now, THAT IS CRAZY STUF!

i'm not criticising as such, i'm just saying, that with better equipment you get better photos. they look good john (well when finished they do) its just my opinion. then again i dont think people want to be paying more because someone wanted higher quality photos.
