teh car is booked in to get raised, and apparently i need some offset bushes to fix my steering lol

is it a good idea to cut some metal off my exhaust flange, i need to get 2cm more clearance was thinking raise the car 1-1.5cm and cut the flange for the extra bit.

to lift it up? if its sagging down, yeh id cut the flange to lift it bak up, just make sure theres no nasty angles, or u could run into problems with leaking gaskets etc

nah i figured i'd get my steering fixed aswell as the car often wants to send me off the road into a tree when i let go of the steering wheel (pulls quite violently to the left) as one tyre shop put it when they said the fixed the problem but didnt - "mate at least its on the 'safe' side of the road not pulling into oncoming traffic" dodgy kernts

and i dont quite follow your flange advice. I meant the flange on my exhaust is the lowest point, was going to snip a bit of it away with a grinder or something to give me a bit more ground clearance.

whoops, i was talking about the bits of metal that hold the exhaust up...i dunno about cutting the flange itself

hmm well thats another option i'm considering is getting the zorst remounted to sit a bit higher.

All this cos one tiny bit of my exhaust is below 10cm ground clearance
