This question has prob been asked but, The main disadvantage of the 25/30 is the rev limit around 6000? compared to the 7500 of the 25, I know the head can handle that limit, so the bottom end is not up to it? What more engineering would bring it upto that or is it the long stroke itself that limits it?

I took my rb25 to 8500rpm.

terry, in std form it can rev to 7000rpm, however if u get good rods, and modify the oil galleries (like mine) u can rev them to 8000rpm no worries

also ud be best getting some maind studs (ARP 2000) and headstuds (arp 2000) to keep it all together

terry, in std form it can rev to 7000rpm, however if u get good rods, and modify the oil galleries (like mine) u can rev them to 8000rpm no worries
