WOOOOOT, Happy to hear it Andy.

im not entirely happy with pedal feel...seems I might need a bigger brake cylinder...and like you say some braided lines but even still they are heaps better than stock! The control is awesome, you can keep them on max braking with out locking so much easier for some reason :)

Brembos are designed with even brake pad application in mind... Hence why its harder to look them up...

Causing max pad to disc application, causing max friction...

Brembo = good

Interesting!

Good indeed!

32 GTR's have ABS so I can imagine 33's do as well.

Hey noel, is it raining out that way? Theres a test n tune on tonight...

Just counting the hours till i can go out to the bank Ian, No rain at all mate. cya out there.

Do the R33 gtr's come with ABS brakes. Would be interesting to see how The Brems went on ASB.

They do but alot of people I know dont like it that much....I really dislike the ABS on my R33 GTST..and now having driven a non ABS car with good brakes I think you are better off with out it!

I will let you see for your self tomorrow but

Sounds like the brems are an ABS unit unto themselves Andy. mumble mumble...more damn money for brembos now, :)

Yeah..but way more effective! I think the ABS cuts in too early!

From 60 I hit the Brakes as hard as I could and all I got out of the fronts was a slight shudder so it locked up slightly...and that was when I was trying to make them lock up doing every thing wrong on purpose!

Try it on a rainy day after it hasnt rained for 3 weeks then tell me if they are good :) or your tyres are shizen With the standard calipers a set of slotted rotors with some decent pads will just be as good as brembos plus you have got to look at 2 factors here, how often you are using them what power are you using them with what application are your main use for them ie: street, drift, drag. There is an acceptible bracket there before you have to fork out for brembo brakes, not only there are some similar packages which are in par with brembos so keep that in mind :) thats my comment for the day

:)

Oh my 2c worth abs is shizen as well better off with no abs i say and use your experience that is another thing on this matter :)

Oops i forgot to mention suspension and tyres will have a big effect on braking as well so consider these aswell and merry easter/good friday to you all

Heres my 2c coming from actual driving experiences

I had standard calipers with DBA 4000 rotors and good pads, I had no where near the braking control I do now, I fact it was woeful and pinacle braking was really hard to pick...now it is easy to do with out thinking. Further more they could over heat after a decent drive in the mountains let alone at a track day.

And the Brembos I got were half the price of a Grex or similar kit...in fact they were cheaper than G4s!

Rahhh andy i did quote depending what application and oh wtf half price discount grrr 2nd hand or new Damn i should have edited my first post Main principle here would be needing to consider what "application" it would be used for, as i would image yes the brembos would help during trackdays or leisurely drives through the mountain due to disc size and caliper size as well. but my mistake was based on main street use there would be real no acceptional need for them unless the overall power was highish as would be needed in most street applications that if the power was substantial you would have to indeedly invest into a decent brakinging pakage. Bah ill shutup now :|
