Awesome... Just getting over the jet lag, have a look at the pics on facebook...

It was one of the best holidays Ive ever had...

I havent been on face book in so long. I should log on, then look at your photos.

Did you eat anything weird

I eat everything I could get my hands on... The experience was awesome...

I was worried about food poisoning but never had a problem...

I could not get over the fact I could have a huge lunch and a few beers and it still only cost $6-7...

Oh you ate everything huh hahah. Giggles.

Yeh teh cheap beers and food are pretty much FTW

I loved there was no liquor laws...

70cent ice cold cans of beer everywhere...

locals would come running up to me with a coldie and say "You Buy" and id say to Renee "I cant knock them back cause thats just rude"...

so yeah it was farkin hot with really high humidity, I lost 2 kgs and I ate like a horse and drank like I always do and still lost weight...

it was all the walking, we averaged about 14-18km per day just round markets and shops etc...

I would go again, was a very impressive country... I got to shoot an AK47 too, check my youtube link on facebook... :ninja:

well a 30km cab ride from the airport was $17AUD and that was including a dodgey meter, dodgey cabbie and a $2 tip...

so walking is completelly optional, we caught a cab into town from our hotel in Hanoi (about 5km) the first day and it cost $3... :ninja:

You can hire a 110cc automatic scooter for about $5 per day also if you wanted but parking costs would make it a stupid idea if you wanta stop all the time...

They take advantage of westerners at the drop of a hat, you need to be carefull and always barter even with the cabbies...

However push too hard and you could end up in trouble, I got punched in the markets in Saigon for insulting a store owner but saying "thats a knock off, thats not real"

As he wanted $300 for a fake rolex, after he punched me we came to a $20 agreement and we were mates again... :)

Anyway bed time for me, im stuffed...

slightly random, but when i turn my computer speakers right down (not off, but down to zero), for some reason i can hear an am radio station coming through them....

if i turn them up a little, the station disappears.....

if i turn them off, no sound.

right now i am listening to the news through them, talking about some ban that is coming into force on friday... and then bush going on about the global economy..

any theories for me?

my advice is to make a foil hat

there looking for you mate

Was it the only time you got punched? Seems odd it was only once...

I did get my fingers bent backwards by a hot little 20 year old girl at a t-shirt shop... Long story...

But the short version is they try to get you into their shops as when you standing in front of the shop another shop keeper can come and get you and pull you into their shop. Once your in a shop the other shop keepers leave you alone. So here I was standing out the front of a T-Shirt shop and the shop keepers daughter was sent out to pull me in and cause I refused to come into the store she bend my fingers back while laughing and saying "come in". I snached my hand back and moved on quickly, but yeah she was hot she was the bait to get western men into he shop...

where did Colin go?

Vietnam and Thailand

Nah he went to Vietnam.

Yeah Vietnam for 2 weeks (The whole country top to bottom) and Bangkok in Thailand for a couple of days...

Oh and I took my camera everywhere, and never spotted one skyline at all...

Didnt even see a Nissan, 95% of cars are Toyotas in Vietnam...
