Just came out of a 2hour tax webbinar. All I can say is, that more reporting, more scrutiny and more work (for me) is going to be required of which will be a struggle to pass on as fees. On a general point, all of us individual taxpayers (and clients) will be faced with more obligations and responsbibilities for much less tax benefits.

SME's are also basically getting no love (no tax breaks) which is the business class that desparetly needs it...........great move there from our current govt to assist smaller businesses with difficult times.

And anyone with SMSF, will need to be extra careful as the ATO are focusing and tightening their clamps really hard on this.
