Thanks bunta. That has explained a lot of things  Where can we get a crank trigger from?

Ross make a kit, MSD do, you can get slots machined into your harminic balancer, lots of options! You need a ECU that can accept a crank trigger sensor input, but thats pretty much anything other than a power FC lol

Just got a invite to a meeting, The Director General of the Department, the Executive Directors of the 4 regions in the state....and me, and I have to demonstrate to them why the Ipads are good. Bit of Friday fun :S

What ever you can get for the best price I reckon, Wolf, Haltech (aside from my personal vendetta) Adaptronic, Vipec, Motec ect are all top line ECUs and will do the job.

Infact Haltech CLAIM that their ECU handles the timing Jitter issue better than the others, and there appears to be some evidence supporting it. Perhaps you could give Haltech a go (cant beleive I said that) on the normal CAS and if you experience an issue go to the crank trigger?

I was thinking of getting a Haltech so that may be one way to do it. I will have a look at their website again and also talk to Hi Torque Performance.

:thanks: 4 d advice mate.

No worries! Mercury are selling Haltechs really cheap at the moment $2000 installed and tuned. I would get it from them, get them to install it, put a base map in it then take it where you please to get tuned.

Looks like I may be able to procure a brand new Hatech Platinum Pro for less than $1,400.

Anyone want a brand New Apexi PUSSY FC with HC :D ?
