I've never seen #5 before, what is that? The Apexi one was rated the best out of HKS, Blitz and K&N in terms of filtration ability (overall power gain was just about the same across all 4), search for the thread and you should eventually find it. :D

welll thanks guys i think im defently going for the apexi pod.....but what about how ppl have 2 or 3 pods.....whats that all about (i guess for more air lol)....and how does one tell if one needs more then 1

how long do these things take to put in and get runnin......if all goes good ill get one tm haha

takes about 30mins to install

Twin Turbo = Twin Intake = Twin Pods

I think you'd need a full custom manifold to have twin pods on a single turbo or NA, you probably have to wire up another AFM too...

Not necessarily, you can have a pipe that splits into two, and run two pods off the one AFM.

Although, its entirely pointless, because the AFM will still be a bottleneck.

Could the AFM cope with having air pass through it at the higher airspeed created having twice the inlet size?

Why would it be at a higher air speed?

The turbo can only suck so much air in...

If there is twice the inlet size, its going to suck the same amount, it just wont be as dense.

all of those jap filters have really poor filtration which is why they have good airflow.

locally made unifilter pods filter much better but still flow well because they have a much larger surface area.

i think top racing sell apexi pm NIB on these forums he works there and should be able to help you out .

and yes go for Apexii have twin apexi pods on my gtr and they are real good (albeit filthy and need replacing)

sorry just realised your over east chec through all sau sponser sites that should be able to help you out

Yeah there was a trend somewhere on here that result from a test between the pod filters to see which ones was the best. I remenbered the apexi one came out on top then the blitz, K& N and then HKS.

Just get any pod filter they'll give you the loud induction sound that your after.
