I want to rebuild my r33 its done 118000 and i want to evetnually get abut 250kw atw.... Does anyone know the approx price of a rb25 rebuild with forgies and conrods etc... cheers

you dont need forged pistoned, you dont need aftermarket conrods.

250rwkw should be fine for a stock motor.

i would like it done by a workshop if anything.. but yeh as i said 118000 on the motor..... i would probaly want ore than 250kw anyway...... has anyone had a rebuild and wat did it cost.... i was thinkin about 5000

if it aint broke dont fix it.

What do you want done in the rebuild?

I mean like i said in another thread, how long is a piece of string?

Mine was 7k, including forged pistons, GTR rods, motor in/out etc etc.

Yeh mine added up to 4.5k and it already had the pistons & rods

it depends on what you want..... i mean if you just chuck a set a forgies some bearings and a thicker head gasket in good for 300rwkw easy..... cheaper than rods, bolts.......etc etc......depends all on what you want at the end of the day no good asking for a price on a general rebuild few thousand too infinty$$$$ upto you and your goals with your car.
