Anyone Put New Seats In Themselves?

Heya guys,

Waas thinking about putting some new seats into the beast, 32 GTS-t, and was wondering if anyone knows how easy or hard a job it is?

Was gonna get some of those cheapy $400 pair from jshop or something and try to install them myself.

Do the rails off the standard seats just unbolt off and bolt onto the new seats?

What is the G O?

It's not as simple as bolton.

If you use the typical 'universal' rails, welding will be involved.

OR

You could buy cheap seats and use them with expensive Bride rails ($300ish each)

i bought some of these seats and put em in myself. i used the original seat rails and made adaptors out of 5mm steel plate to bridge the offsett - it was a bit of rooting round but a die grinder and bench drill was all that was needed. good thing about doing it this way is you still use the factory rails and mount point so less probs with saftey etc... compared to the factory rails 5mm plate is overkill :sorcerer:
