Down The Gor....again

heading down the GOR next week to apollo bay getting excited

just one question, i am aware that there is a back way through a forrest or something back towards geelong, but what road is it called? ive been told that this is a good drive also.

If you dont know the road, i would sugget going home via the GOR.

There is one turnoff you have to make on the way home, if you dont you'll end up in colac... and its very easy to do aswell

The road itself is called Forrest-Birragurra Road (if i recall correctly) and its turnoff is on the Skenes Creek bridge out front of the caravan park

After 20 odd years you'd think i'd know it... but i can never remember the name of it

just as your leaving apollo bay there is a turn off on the left. think it should say something like colac on it. i have done it a few times. fairly good bit of road. and quiter then then GOR.

If you are coming by the inland way, watch out for cops. There will be a long straight, you might get tempted to speed up a little, just keep a look out. Many mates got done there. It's called Otway or something
