Q45 Or Z32?

I am thinking of running a Q45 AFM with the power fc that im buying soon.. Whats the difference with q45 vs z32? what is most prefered? what is better to use?

Q45 is a bit bigger in diameter but unless you're making 300rwkw I don't think Z32 will be restricting it.

it seems that alot of Q45 AFM's are getting around on the market, compared to the Z32. So i can use either one and it wont matter?

how big is the Q45? i think my Z32 is 2.5 inches in diameter?

Q45 is often too big and can be hard to tune in that due to the size and lack of flow compared to the original motor, the readings are not consistant and does not run as well as a Z32.

I am about to upgrade mine and will be going a Z32 both due to my research and advise from my tuner.

ok fair enuf, i was kinda thinking a brand new z32 aswell. I gues Z32 will be the way to go. Whos doing your tuning? r u in melb?

Whichever is cheaper.

I don't know how some are having issues with the Q45, but with my t3/4,13psi,WBO2,PFC it ran just fine.

Also with the flange cut off it will slip into the factory air inlet tube.
