Lovin the TE37's - but they're a bitch to keep clean. Damn bendix ultimates :)

same as me.. but mine are bronze so its a bit easier to keep em clean.. and ive got bendix ultimates as well.. damn dust

that look very very low!! any problems driving around?

nice one mate!

Besides the fact it scrapes up the driveway in that picture, and cant get over ANY speed bump in Victoria..

Nup! No issues at all lollllllllll... :)

But I wouldn't have it any other way..

Thanks,

Abu

Nice looking car man. What coilovers are you running and how stiff are they. Are your rims the 18/8.5+35 front and 18/9.5+38 rear? If so they are the same as mine, very cool.

Thanks man.

I am running TEIN Flex coilover's, and there fairly stiff at the front, but when I slide it hard with someone in the back the rear tires touch the arch a little.

I haven't stiffened the rear ones up yet though, there running low damper but will do it this weekend.

Ride's awesome though, really happy with the ride.

Nah my rims are 17" man, but if you ever want to sell your 18's let me know as I am keep to go to 18's. :D

Thanks,

Abu

Just took car for drive, mine are scrubbing bad at front.

Any dips in the road and then you hear a creeking noise coming from the fronts.

Not sure if its scrubbing or perhaps the springs/shocks? as it seems to only come from the front right?

Guess its rolling lip on the weekend ~_~

think somethings wrong there mate, definitely shouldnt be scraping like that, so yeh could be shocks or something, i was running the rears on the front which are 9" +30 (which is another 12mm further out then the 8"s) and i didnt have any issue with scraping even then, although it was very close.

How low is that sitting man?

Coilovers? chopped springs?

nice bro

I agree with everyone else. That 32 sits awesome mate. Id love to go that low but on my coilovers its bumpy as fark! Its also probably one of the first cars iv liked 3 spoke wheels on. Looks decent

Thanks man!

Totally agree with you there on the tri spokes lol

Thanks,

Abu

i think its just my shock/spring setup.

The stiffness isnt that much different from stock, so its a comfortable ride but dips in road it scrubs a little.

It isnt that low as you can see :S

    • If doing that ^, I'd take the idle up valve out and plug the hole in the pump.
    • You can try capping the power steering idle up valve at both ends if it's old. The valve and the intake manifold. That is something that is known to fail in Toyotas with age and it will suck power steering fluid into the intake and burn it in the engine which can cause issues. Then bleed it again with engine off first. Do like 30+ lock to lock turns with the front wheels off the ground.
    • Hi Brent, I am wondering if you ever worked this out? I have upgraded this unit to a newer one and everything works bar the reverse camera, so i really want to know what plugs are what so I can patch the camera through. many thanks in advance Mike

    • Update:   smoke test all pipes no issues cleaned reservoir   fluid put in ( dexron 3 atf)   steering turn side to side and could hearing  gurgling from steering rack which I assumed was air lock, opened one of the steering rack connections and could see loads of air getting pushed out( not sure if you meant to do that / whether it will re introduce air into system)   anyways, loads of side to side sound was gone. Turned car on, pump was slightly ( barely) wining so turned side to side few more turns and fluid level when car on was almost none in resorvoir which I guess is normal if car is one. Turned car of and fluid was gushing out. Almost 200-300cc was pushed out. Repeated engine off side to side followed  by engine on and same result       going mad now. It seems system is either sucking air in whilst on or there is tons of air which I am not giving it enough time to bleed. Thoughts?   would it work like brake caliper if I open steering rack copper pipes and let gravity pull all air out?   or maybe have a restriction somewhere? What is the red circled item, could that be blocked? It i
