Funny, I though I posted up earlier - turns out I haven't. Pretty average looking gtr, just kept simple. Thinking of getting new rims but can't decide on what ones to get. I was going go stock but maybe they will look too small?

Why would you down grade?

I would be getting something like these:

Wierd to me that you'd see R32 GTR rims as a downgrade. Sure they're not 18s etc but they are a classic and still look great on 32s. Yes they need another 20mm of offset, but still a great choice in my book.

Yeah they look nice. Might look into it. I was thinking of somthing in a matte black though or a dark bronze. I do approve of the style though - its neat and looks sporty, I can't stand cromies etc, looks very tacky.

Yeah i also dont rate chromies AT ALL! Your current rims look good on the car though. Black on black can look good but sometimes the rim style is a bit lost cause they don't stand out. But time attack's are fkn sweet!

if youve got colouful stuff behind black wheels and big f$%k off rotors... they dont really get lost. i think that high gloss black can get lost due to the reflections... too much going on, too much shine, cant really see the shape of the wheel or where the wheels end and the wheel well starts.

TIME ATTACK TE37'S FTW!!!!

here's a couple of my cars, got lucky with the number plates.... "SKYLINE" on the GTS-T (not on in these pics) and "GODZILA" on the GTR.

the GTS-T is running a RB 25/30 with microtech lt12s and gt3076r turbo never been on a dyno but eats my brother 260 rwkw xr6 turbo ute..... the gtr is a forged bottom end with -5 turbos and has never been on a dyno...lol. get my licence back soon so i'll get tuning....

    • Ended up spending a WHOLE day yesterday cleaning and rearranging my shed.  Due to the aforementioned disorder, my shed is as cluttered and confused as my brain. Again, because of said disorder,  at any one time there are 5 projects on the go at once and because they're still on the go I don't put everything away so I can "get straight back to it" which rarely happens.. So anyway,  I bought a couple of cheap 2mx2m all steel "pallet racks" to put in my back shed.  The idea is to then take pretty much everything out of the main shed that isn't car related. Most of the garden and building stuff is now booted out to the back shed and onto to the shelves where they belong! There's still more rearranging and reallocating to do and it's still a bit busy in there but it's a massive improvement on how it was previously. I've discovered floor space I forgot I had...  For those that have fully dismantled a car before will understand just how much space it takes up!  Particularly panels, bumpers, engine/trans, etc.  I've got stuff hanging on every available wall to get it up off the floor!  This is not exciting content for a blog but has certainly made the shed feel like a more work ready space now!
    • Updating results from our ATR43SS-1 turbo in T3 .63, OEM bolt dump pattern. Not a big number but pretty sweet for a stock Rb20det. Car's managed to pull 220rwkws at 20psi, perfect boost control internally gated with EBC and excellent mid top end power band as they usually skydive after 5.5K. Usual bolt on supporting mods and inlet plenum and factory location exhaust manifold. Pump 98 fuel was used (Ron 93).
