Abs, Air Bag Light

Hi fellas

I am just wondering what i can do with the following

My 180sx type x, well when i turn the car on abs and airbag doesnt do a self check (you know how it is suposed to come on for a few seconds then go away).I am just wondering if it is a fuse or something.By the way car is accident free, no probs whatsoever, it's just me being picky and trying to figure out as why it doesnt do a selfcheck.Any help would be great

There's a fair chance that if it doesnt come on AT ALL, then the globe/led behind the dash is faulty, or simply a bad connection in the wiring somewhere.
