hey guys, did a search but looking for some more answers...

car is running fmic, turbosmart 5050 amto plub back bov, 3" turbo back, stock ecu...

car stalled at a set of lights after bout 5-10mins of a bit of a hard drive(test drive) then once again at another set of lights... and then a few "almost stalls" when slowing down(throttle blip saved the embarressment)

im looking at buying this car and am worried bout the price of fixes for these problems...(and i do need a car soon )

1. Fuel pump, read bout the pulsing siginal to it and hard wireing to fix problem... how much for a new fuel pump, plus install price(rough, thinking walbro, bosch)

2. Injectors?? all up price of replacing them, and what ones to look at, thinking 550cc.

3. Bov is 50-50, could this be the issue?? never had a prob on my old 33 and atmo bov, but i ran a link ecu with a map sensor, so afm wasnt an issue... could a bad afm be the problem? perhaps the bov still slightly open when stoped at lights be the deal?

4. Could a stock ecu re-set just fix this problem??? PFC will be next mod but not for a while

anything else im missing? i know alot of its bn covered, but any advice and help would be muchly appreicated...

Again, possibly the AAC valve being dirty, there is a section in the DIY part of this site how to clean it, had exactly the same problems, car was stalling after hard drives etc.

clean your aac and the problem will go away.

yeah i read that, wasnt sure if that was my problem(like someone else reciently) this is my only major concern with this car, like i said had a map sensor so never had a stalling issue with my other one

could also just be crap spark plugs. i had this issue, put new plugs in and hasn't done it since.

I had the same problem with my car, i cleaned the AAC and put the standard BOV (plumback) back on the car, all fixed.
