Help With Gearbox/clutch Noise

Can someone please help, every now and again when i put my foot on the clutch it doesnt disengage properly, it makes bad noises and i get vibrations, what is wrong with it coz i dont want to go pulling the gearbox off and fitting a new clutch if i dont have to

does it mainly do it when its cold? and is it a whirring noise? (best way i could describe it) i have the same noise, and had it with the 180sx i had. mine only does it when it cold, (first or second time i use the clutch after starting it in the morning). my clutch is reasonably new.

as far as i know it is still a stock clutch, and yes it is a *whirring* noise, but not only when cold, only does it every now and again, like not even once a week

ive got the same problem on my R33.. at low revs when i depress the clutch it makes the same noise then disapears after take off..

Anyone know what causes this? I've just bought an R33, and a couple of times after starting it in the morning it's made a whirring sound when I depress the clutch. It only does it a couple of times, then it's fine and doesn't make the sound again.

Got a pretty good idea mine is the thrust bearing, so full gearbox drop for me soon, maybe we all got the same thing

i have the same thing,

reverse out of driveway, first time release clutch sounds like something has shit itself, push clutch in and release again and its fine.. cold mornings... got a HD clutch too.....
