Hi Micheal,

Are you in Sydney?

I bought the split dump off You, few months back. (Picked up from your bro)

If possible I will meet up with him again?

and pay cash to him?

Cheers,

PM sent!!!!

All PMs sent/replied to!

MintR33,

It depends on the amount of people that miss out and want a second GB organised. If there are enough people that ask for a second GB, i'll make one. The only way i can get these prices is by getting the cats in bulk. We'll see what the responses will be like by the end of this GB.

cheers

hi,

yes the small body 3" cats (pictured on the second post) are available in the group buy. let me know if you want to be put down for one, and for which car.

cheers

5" round body, 200csi metal inside - 706.2 CFM <<<=== that cat looks IDENTICAL to my 5inch body metal cat on the inside how ever i have 4inch in and out.. but i may be needing one for a r32 GTST bolt in.. 5inch round body one bolt in for r32 with flanges and temp sensor i will let you know today if i need it.. will speak to the guy todayseeing as its 440am

rb26s13,

yes it has the same insides as the metal cat (200ccsi cell), except the metal cat has a 4" body with the 4" substrate. thats why the catco metal cat flows higher (5" body, 5" substrate).

let me know definately and i'll add you to the list.

cheers

hi guys

just letting you know that the catco metal cats have all sold out from catco and there should be more coming soon from the USA shortly.

all the people in the list (list is up to number 15) have been catered for, as i have picked up the cats already but any new people who wish to be added for a catco metal cat, there will be a wait. i will find out how long this will be shortly and post it.

if anyone wishes to back out of the GB and has secured a catco metal cat, please advise me as it can be made open to someone else.

cheers

Hey BATMBL,

I bought one of your 3" large body cats a while back to put on my old R32 (which I've since sold) and was really happy with the product...now I'm trying to decide whether to go another for my R33 or go the whole hog and get a Catco metal cat.

So we know the 3" Catco metal cat flows 706CFM, but I'm interested to know the flow figures for the 3" big body ceramic substrate cat so I can compare & decide?

If you could let us know that would be great!

    • I would not be surprised if you are the only person on earth that has the interest/desire to do that lol.  The Haltech base map is a really good starting point, the car will fire easily and drive very well, even on mild boost levels. To me, following your advice sounds like some sort of ancient Chinese water torcher lol (this is not an insult Josh, never change <3)
    • Those car show concepts from the 2000's and 2010's like the Floria and IDx were brilliant and should've gone ahead, at least one of them. But neither Honda nor Nissan are thinking about affordable performance any more, which is truly sad.  Even if Toyota's liquid hydrogen ICE development reaches the point where it's commercially viable and the infrastructure to support it, Honda/Nissan would have to wait until Toyota allow fee access to their patents to offer it with any smaller performance models they released to take advantage of it.
    • A sporty manual RWD coupe with a IL4 Honda engine would only be a good thing I assume we won't see anything released for a few years though, unless informal talks and designs have been going on for a few years,  and due to the current, and future, emmisions and safety requirements, I assume anything "sporty" they would do would be at least some hybrid thingie And hopefully anything they are thinking of has nice lines, without lots of plastic and fake bits hanging off it like that horrendous FK8 that looked like it was designed by a 13 year old The other issue of course in the current market is cost, currently the type R is around $70k, a twin is around $50k Meh, I'm old and grumpy and would rather buy a older model car and waste my coin on that than buying anything currently available new
    • Nissan needs to forget about building SUVs in every size possible and bring back the damn Silvia/200sx duo to compete with the 86/brz. Maybe with the Honda type r motor pointing the right way
