Water Pump

Jus thought id let u all know a water pump can be done with out taking the timming belt off. Took me about 3.5 hours to do I will post a tutorial up

Most spanner twirlers know a waterpump can be installed without removing timing belt etc.

I remove everything so I'm positive no rubbish has dropped down into the bottom cover, just waiting to get caught up in the crank pulley and snap the belt.

When the pump comes off with that rush of water from the block......

Not good practice.

It's only recommened you replace the timing belt at the time you do the water pump, saves time and money.

No one said you couldnt do one without the other tho... So i guess its just your preference to not do the belt at the same time.
