What happens (not sure if this is even possible) you bottom out and scrub the GTR wheel/tyre offset on a Fibre Glass MSA front guard??? Will it rip the sh*t out of the glass or what? Maybe not just the annoyance of a tyre rubbing?

That's why you'd go for the deliberately narrower tyres on the rims, so the wheel is in line with the gaurd, but the tyre just tucks under...

had to do the same thing. friken falcon offset 18x8.5s...

makes it incredibly easy to scrub you rim on gutters though... found that out the hard way. friken maccas stupid carpark thingy make my car looka shit! i hate you! (i typed that with a greek accent in my head, but it didnt really come out in the actual text)

thats exactly what the rubber on my rims looks like, 225s on and 8.5" rim. stretched to the max, like a drift car. looks good but, cos you can see teh whole circle of the rim from just about any angle. like i said, bad for gutters though.

Yeah, also be careful not to hit the sidewall of the tyre to hard, or POP! It'll pop straight off the bead I reckon

Yes, there is actually a tyre on this rim

I had 235/45/R18's on a 10 inch wide rim.. on the rear

and 225/45/R18's on a 9 inch wide rim on the front
