Finally upgraded Photoshop

After many years of using photoshop I have finally upgraded it. I purchased the full version of PS 4 when it was released and I have just bought PS 7. It is amazing with soooo many features that 4 lacked and that I always wished I had.

I also got a good deal on Premier 6 so I got it as well as I am finally editing some movie footage I shot some time ago.

Not that anyone cares but I love it.

I upgraded to 7 a week ago... is soo sweeeeet. Altho I still run a copy of 5 as well, coz for some plugin filters 7 drags its arse around like a dog with no back legs.

What does 7 have over 6 ? I think one fature that I would notice the most between the older vers of PS compared to 5+ would be the magnetic lasso, makes things sooo much easier.

I should be looking at 7 soonish ....

The Healing Tool

This is the sweetest tool of all......like the clone tool but uses texture not actual pixels then overlays it using the surrounding pixel luminency.....awesome, just awesome

Sounds interesting, got any small examples ? I could just got the the Adobe website and I'm sure they'd have examples galore, just whiop something together !

Actually they have a quicktime vid of it being used. end result is the same as the clone tool but is heaps easier to use and doesn't replicate the selected area. Best to see the vid.
