I tried searching but to no avail, but the problem I have is similar to this:

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...opic=111715&hl=

EXCEPT

Mine constantly blows cold air instead of hot. Now I dont know if its just ambient air being sucked in and being blown through or that its conditioned air (because its been so cold lately) but it doesnt matter what temp i set it to, even FH, it still blows cold air. Im thinking its more likely to be conditioned air, since the AC worked perfectly over summer.

I was thinking its a sensor problem, but the AMB button still brings up the relative ambient temperature. Any ideas? Its not a fluid problem either, theres plenty of coolant in the radiator.

Also, my rear dimister (oh the irony) seems to never work also, are there any known or common causes for that? Any advice you can give to get it working again?

Thanks guys.

have a look at the little wires running on the window for the rear demister. Check for any breakages. If its not that then its probably just a connection problem elsewhere so find the wire coming from near your parcel shelf, splice it and multimeter it.

When you switch from hot to air or cold to hot, yours doesnt make any noise? Mine makes a whining noise and takes a bit of time so im assuming the motor which opens or closes, on mine, is on the way out, maybe yours is gone. You might wana try on a/c mode on economic mode, on no mode (no a/c or econ lights showed), on FH and FC, see if any of those make a difference.

I did some tests over the weekend like you said, and it keeps blowing air at the same basic temperature (as far as I can tell). Fan speed and direction all works fine (feet, face and demister) and all that, but theres no buzzing noise coming from inside like you mentioned.

Now this morning for some strange reason the bastard decided to blow warm toasty air on the way to work - which is fine in this weather, but it still wouldnt adjust the actual temp of the air coming out when i changed the temp put it on FC or FH.

    • You still want a proper tune on the stock ECU though. Stock tune + stock ECU with GT-SS/-9s is probably playing with fire if you're running more than stock airflow/power.

    • Definitely a hearty eater when we go out, I consider these meals my cheat day as I've been watching my calories in and calories out pretty hard since my little fun size stroke, I've gone from a fat boy of 89 Kg, I'm only 165cm tall/short, down to a almost semi lean 73 Kg over the last few years, I'm currently around 17% body fat which my doctor is very happy with, but, my goal is to slowly get down to and maintain 15%,so yeah, I want all of the protein, carbs, fats and sugars when I go out for a binge
    • There was a great one on Victoria Rd in Gladesville too back in the day. I can only assume GTSBoy is thinking of the mill up on the wollondilly, no restaurant there any more but they have restored the original steam engine on site and run it every few months, have an annual steampunk festival etc @The Bogan, you came to the wrong town for restaurants. we have a few reasonable asian and indian options but the Paragon is as good as it gets otherwise. That brewery is apparently just opened, been meaning to give it a go some time. The Highlands have plenty of fancy options but I suspect you are more a hearty eater than fancy eater
