Bonnet Dampers For R33

Does anybody have pics of these installed on the R33 have wanted to put some on but was a little unclear on were i could install them securely.

Might just try and mod some from another car like a BA or something. Tein's are way to expensive like $400 or so.

I tried to do this mod a while ago. the probelm is that there is not much room between the guard and the bonnet. If you try and think of squeezing it in there, you'll know what I mean.

At the time, the closest I could see was the n16 pulsar rear hatch dampers. I reckon I could have got them to fit if I could have made up a new bracket. Unfortunately, I don't have any welding equipment.

new from repco - about $50 each. the load rating is also perfect. I forgot how heavy it was, but i got monroe to calculate it for me.

$50 for what car?? The Pulser or BA???

the pulsar rear hatch. From my search previously, the puslar rear hatch damper was the best suited to modifying for the skyline bonnet.

The ba falcon one is a poor choice. Firstly, not made by monroe (when I last checked). Therefore, you'd have to go to ford new. Secondly, they're way too fat. The skylines have very little room under the bonnet.

I could see the pulsar one as just fitign with some mods. I didn't ahve a welder, so I couldnt' do it.

Like I said, if you manade to, i'll be very interested.
