Does anyone have photo's of where the castor adjustable bushes go?

or be able to describe to me in good enough detail which arm it is?

l know there is a thread with some photo's but l have looked for days and can not find it again. if someone could forward that, it would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

PS. the forum search engine is pretty crappy :)

find the lower control arm, off that arm there is a bar/rod going forward held on to the arm with 2 bolts. That is the castor rod. the bushes go in the front of that. Big round ones. about 6" in diametre. Its basically the furtherest forward suspension bush on the car in the front.

Hope that helps.

how much would the rod have to bend for the castor to be a 0 degrees?

Impossible, the radius rod would have to be longer to get zero caster.

Hence straighter, therefore bent less, not more.

Usually less caster is caused by the front subframe (where the radius rod bolts to) being bent or displaced.

This happens when the wheel hits something rigid while the car is moving forwards (ie; straight ahead into a guttter will do it).

 cheers
