Lifting the Head on an R32, Help Needed!

WEll ive got 0 compression in cylinder 4 after the turbo change so the head is coming off. im doing it with a few mates and between us we probably have aenough mechanical knowledge to do it. However if anyone has had any experience doing this could they offer some advice? and tricks for the RB20?

any help is greatly appreciated

I would suggest draining the water from the motor as water and oil dont mix well.

yeh i was gunah drain both before starting to get the head bolts undone...

anything else i should keep in mind?

alright i spent a solid 6 hours on this on the weekend and it still doesnt come up

its being held at the back of the engine bay on the drivers side. are there any heater or coolant hoses ive forgotten to undo? im getting pretty pissed off with this engine!

there are two heater hoses at the back on the drivers side

one goes from the block and the other runs under the inlet runners ( from memory anyway ).

these will need to be undone
