i have an OS twin. it's the more agressive, non-sprung centre type so it's not particularly friendly to drive. personally i love it, but if you dont like a little bit of hard bite and need to drive it a lot, every day then it may not be for you. The sprung centre version is probably a bit more friendly, but is not so well suited for track or drag use.

Yeah but you have an aftermarket box. Solid centre twin plate = stock box = bang ....

As for the OP, why f**k around with a twin plate if you don't need it? 320rwkw isn't huge power, plenty of singles will hold that power, unless you want the wank factor of 'i have a twin plate clutch'

Call Jim Berry and chat to him about twin plates........

Yeh 320Kw at all 4 isn't huge in GTR terms, I am not saying it is, but I'd rather have the (Kw) head-room that I believe these twins (OS/Exeedy) allow. Nothing wrong with a twin (or a tripple for that matter), my NISMO was great (but is dying after a good hard 65+ thou K's), no probs in traffic, good of the line. I've driven a brass button & found it sucked the puss. Maybe it was just cuase I was used to the twin.

I'll still give Jim a call as I am not sold on a twin necessarily, & it's good to hear the advice from poeople that drive these various clutch set ups. Thou I wouldn't choose a Jim (single) clutch just cause it's the cheaper option either.

So what clutch do you run with your GTR & wot's it make ATW?

I like wank factor... :(
