I have an R32 GTS-t And for some reason when the window is down and while driving the whole door seems to bounce around, up and down! And i was thinking it was the bolt loop that holds the door closed, because the plastic on the loop was worn out.. so i got a new one.. but the door has rooted it already!

the pas side door doesnt do it at all, and the plastic on the loop bolt is in perfect condition..

Has anyone else had this problem, and been able to sort it?

It may even be a hinge problem, tho i have never had to adjust the hinge, I DONT KNOWWWWWW.

HELP ME

With the door open, grab it and try to move it up and down, if it moves its the hinges or thier mounts, if not it could be the latch in the body or the door is out of true, the screws holding them in have adjustment in them for movement for proper alignment, look carefully at the good latch (passenger door) and try to identify the wear marks/positioning to each other and try to do the same for the other latch (drivers door) one part moves up and down and the other sideways if I remember rightly.

From what you have said it seems to be the body part of the latch that is too low and doesnt fully support the weight of the door or could be the door part is too high, just to cover everthing Hahahaha.

Thanks alot for the reply, that sounds like a good idea, move the door when open and see if its the hinge or something else... Will try this in the morning wish me luck, cause i HATE it jumping around like it does
