Another Backfire Issue

Sorry about this, I have checked all other threads but caNT pin point the problem..

When I clucth and pop it into second or into third and occasionally fourth, I get a small POP

noise... It's usually when I change past 3k rpm. It doesnt do this all the time but often enough

to annoy me. It is no different when I am hammering the car just usually gives a louder POP on entry to 2nd and/or 3rd gear but will be fine for the remaining gear changes....

I am not too cluey mechanically so I cant check a lot of things myself...I need to pay for labour

so I was just curious as to whats usually the common fault so I dont get the mechanic to change 50 different things before I solve the problem....

I have just had the spark Plugs replaced too..

it sounds like the stock ecu just running a little rich

no harm done really, its just popping and farting a little on gear change

ive got this same problem, and ive got an SAFC II tuned and it still does this..

im running a haltech at near 600 hp, and it duz dat. i think its a thing with such a large exhaust, and a lot of unburnt fuel vapour builds up.....thats all i can think of

check the gap of your new plugs. it should be 0.8mm if run etra boost.

check also your AFM for fualty.
