Front Sway Bar Install

well i tried spacing it with washers and longer bolts but nothing works. It won't fit!

well i tried spacing it with washers and longer bolts but nothing works. It won't fit!

OK, looks like a special bar is needed.

I can arrange for the return and a credit for the standard bar.

It's no problem to make, just need to know how much to modify it.

The standard bar fits right?

The 24 mm whiteline bar is, what, 8 mm closer to the sump?

So all we should need is 8 mm extra in the step out to clear the sump?

How about 10 mm just to be sure?

Can you please check it as I don't want Whiteline to be making 3 or 4 bars to get it right.

Some tips;

The pictures you have taken are too close, I can't get a real perspective on how much.

Hang the bar off some cable ties, as low as necessary until it fits, plus do up the links

Then take some photos and measure how far the D braket is off the subframe.

The standard bar defintely fits, got it on there now! I'll have to get some exact measurements cause i'm not sure exactly where its fouling i think its more than just on the sump, will get back to you with what i decide to do!
