Can you upgrade the RB30 main to the RB26 main stud size?

T04GTR: I thought that the RB26 ran a larger main bolt factory, i may be mistaken. In that case if they are the same can you incrase the size of the RB30 main bolt/stud size like you can on the RB26?

id asume so. but i dont really see it being a worthwhile mod.

as there rigid as. + arp studs reqire a tighter torque settng. so to do it properly you should get the block/main girdle line bored.

(coz the extra tightening of the bolts distorts the block of its true centre line of the crank.
