Hey Guys this is my first post. Love the website very informative.

I just about to buy my first Skyline, ive never really driven a Skyline before, but been a passenger in one a couple of times.

The model i am looking at is a '97 R33 Gts-T Manual with 79,000K's on the clock

I test drove it on the weekend and it think its the one i want to get. My only convern is that when i drove it it didnt feel as powerful as i thought it would have. Everything on the car is stock including Filters and Exhaust. It just didnt have that sort of pull that other ones i have been in.

Is this normal for a stock Skyline or is something wrong? Does only get that sort of real pull when you add exhaust and a filter and other mods etc...?

I feel that when your a passanger the car feels faster then when you're driving.

I let my mate drive mine the other night when i was passanger and i was rather impressed with my head being pushed to the head rest :) I guess when your driving you know exactly what the cars gonna do, so it doesnt feel so dramatic.

after driving a VT executive Ls1 with 213rwkw for 3 years, my stock as a rock skyline was prettttty slow too!!:P

even though stock as a rock i did a 15.0 @92mph it wasnt too slow

once you get a few things happening, they are quick

so far ive just got cat back and a pod and did 14.5@95

either way - just enjoy the car :P
