Here you are big fella.

Althought these prices are not the "brand new price" if you were thinking of selling or buying for that matter here is a rough guide.

All the best

Regards Evan

PS) by the way, nice choice!!!!!

AFAIK, the later skylines were only really a Japanese only model, not sold anywhere else, but only available by importing. but 100 R32 GTR's were sold in australia by nissan, but didnt sell too well. I heard that Kerry Packer bought a few as well?

what... I thought R32s and R33s were sold here, seeing as they are actually quite a common car.....?

anyone know what they sold for straight from Nissan in Yen?

I'm just curious is all. Not selling or buying anything, only mentioned the GTST 4 door in particular because my Rb25det came out of one.

I think he wants to know how much they were brand new in yen, then convert that yen to AU$.

Like if he was in japan when the first 33's came out, how would he have to pay for one brand new in AU$....

Although currency has changed in value since then.

I used to have the prices. my computer died.

Keep in mind that prices change - inflation. 93 model 33s are now 13 years old.

remember skyline > 200sx. which were sold in the 40s here.

Skylines common? it's only because you're on the look out for them. e.g. if you were actually looking out for au falcons, you'd see about 10-15 times as many as skylines.

i notice everyone says skylines are common... i personal dont think so. lets take a 1000 cars... out of that thousand how many would be a 32, 33 or 34. not many at all. you never hear someone say, civics are common... preludes are common, 180's are common, silvias are common.

just skylines, maybe because they stand out!!! haha

id hear my friends talk about someone in a silvia or a 180 saying it was "sick" or whatever even though there are a hell of alot of the silvia range (considering s14's and s15's were locally deliverd) but when i bought my r33 most of them turned up there noses and just said.... pffft seen so many of them and didnt even want to look at the car.

na, Skylines are pretty common. I know at least 4 people that own a post R32 Skylines.... And you see at least one a day. IMO, thats what I call common, especially for a car that was never sold here new.

Plus, look how many members this forum has, theres what? 23,000 members.... vast majority are Skyline owners of course.

R32, R33,and R34 Skylines collectively are more common than the modern Monaros. Theres only what, 13,000 of them all up. I'd say theres more than 13,000 post R32 Skylines

but anyways...

    • My idle is set at 950rpm though - Moving the timing around 20 degrees is not really what I'd call a calm idle. That said... neither is chop, by definition. The LS ECU likes to adjust timing to hold idle as opposed to air. It'd work, but generally speaking there'd be a discrepancy in the base idle and the IACV would want to move the timing around anyway to maintain said idle. I think I'm just going to keep the timing steady anyway. Preserve my engine mounts.  My aircon is now officially regassed. As the guy was reversing I noticed my reverse lights do not operate, along with my reverse cam. This is a bit distressing, because 100% of guides talk about which wire to connect to backup cams as "the goes with the [other color] wire". Often when doing conversions. Unfortunately the R34 colour wires aren't documented Unfortunately I had a T56 Magnum gearbox with it's reverse switch, which also isn't documented. Unfortunately there's definitely not documentation for people with both of these in the one car. Unfortunately I forgot. After many hours of this, I have a reverse cam and reverse lights again. The wire going through the trans tunnel to the reverse switch had broken. Upon inspection, it looks like this one wire had about 7 spade terminals and extensions in it.. for reasons I cannot possibly comprehend. I also spent the 750 hours required to clean up the wiring behind my head unit which now looks like this: This is a monumental improvement relative to what used to be there WRT triple gauges, head unit, traction control, wideband controller, and whatever the f**k OEM stuff still exists there in various states of connectivity/needed. Next step is to check in at the Exhaust shop to see/confirm how much clearance I have, to decide what mid mufflers or 'resonators' (which are just straight through, narrower mufflers) I can add and hopefully cut out a lot of exhaust leaks, pinhole, v-band or otherwise. But first step will be to 'take a look' before the next step.
    • Fark the AFM card and Nistune, Haltech Nexus S3, DBW, cruise control, flex fuel, dis dat.
    • It's most likely the bolt/bush where the cover bolts back wore and allowed cover to move forward.
    • Still haven't put the injectors and R35 AFM in so we can tune the bloody thing for the HG highflow it got mid last year! I think I can forecast the upgrade path to a bigger twin scroll, external gate, Haltech, flex setup, Samsonas, dis dat, etc will be .... a while away!
    • Should have taken that opportunity to slot in a twin scroll turbo setup. Maybe next time.
