R33 Gtr......4 Door!

Hey poeple, recently i have heard that Nissan produced an aftermarket/special edition R33 GTR in a four door.

I have done some light research and have found the following.

and...........thats about as far as i could go, if anyone else has info on 33 sedan GTR that would be awesome. As a R33 4 door owner myself i think that this a tuff ride. Apparently only about 100 were released...but like i said, its only early days in regard to my research and any info would be greatly appriciated.

you can pick up a R33 GTR 4door by AUTECH for around 40k

These were all made by Autech in limited quantities. Autech is a company wholly owned by Nissan Japan which is known to make special variants of Nissan vehicles for niche markets. Like the RB26DE four door non turbo auto R32, the RS260Stagea.

These were produced to celebrate 40th anniversary of the Skyline. Here's the official Autech website about them: http://www.autech.co.jp/HISTORY-SV/R33S01/index.htm

Recently they have been putting their name to different trim levels of standard cars, V35 Skylines and M35 Stagea's. Don't really see them doing anything too bold like they used to though.

one of these sold at auction 2 weeks ago 80,000klms ..auction price 3,175,000..approx 38k aud before it leaves japan

makes them a pretty expensive 33

well its not a true gtr as it isnt straight off the factory floor from nissan yes autech is wholly owned by nissan but its is a seperate subdivision like nismo

its looks no different to a series 2 4dr gts, apart from the GTR front end, pumped guards and side skirts which is far from ugly!

i see another 2dr vs 4dr thread coming on.....
