Kaaz 1.5 Lsd

hey guys just a post to get some feedback on oil u have used in the kaaz mec 1.5 way lsd and what resaults u got like noise driveablilty and what not to use

I have just fitted a 1.5 way. I used the kaaz oil. Diff is a bit noisy though.

so theres one out there that has a kaaz mech diff thats had a play with some oils

i haven't really bothered with good diff oil since i have a welded diff, but if i had a mech, i'd be using Redline oil. Just double check that whatever you go for has the friction modifiers for an lsd

if its abity chattery. use the HOLDEN LSD ADDATIVE. it works in nismo ones

kaaz oil has the correct additives in it i assume.

did you follow the proper bedding in instructions? you are ment to change the oil right after you bed it in i think.

I changed the oil straight after bedding the diff in. Just a bit graby (noisy) when turning sharp (slow) or pulling out of a parking place.

Mine was the same.

Made grinding noises, banging when it locks up, etc etc.

I used the Kaaz LSD oil for the first few thousand Ks.

My workshop recommended me to replace the oil every few thousand Ks until the noises go away.

Mine have gone almost all together.

When warm, you wouldn't even know you had a tricky diff.

I use the Castrol stuff. My workshop swear by it, black and blue. And I trust them
