Air Flow Meter / BOV Help!

I removed my standard one on my 32 because it was f^&kin noisy. Ive now got a TurboXs which vents to atmosphere and is quieter! Figure that one out

The standard one makes a horrible hissing noise too and when the car comes on boost all you can hear is air rushing under the bonnet (hard to explain). It wasnt until after i put the aftermarket one on that i realised my engine note actually sounds pretty good.

So not everyone who buys a BOV wants it for the sound. Alot of people buy them so they can get rid of the incredibly noisy standard one.

Besides the standard one is now a handy paperweight on my desk that i couldnt do without.

Another name is reversion when you car stalls when you come of boost. It cools the AFM elements then fuels accordingly.
