Before anyone goes further, please provide a bit more info:

- Where you are

- What brand turbo timer you have

- How much you are looking to spend

- Are you looking just for an alarm, or immobiliser too? If you have insurance, what are the minimum requirements?

I daresay a lot of packages will meet your requirement. Just remember an alarm / immobiliser is only as good as the person who installed it.

Nope never heard of vision b4.

i suggest mongose m80 and im sure chris rogers (the above who posted) lives in brisbane and can install it for you.

Get a keypad also with that alarm for extra security.

But now it all depends on how much you want to spend.

OK then.

I had one installed for about $300.

It needed to be an Australian Standard 3(Could be 4 though) point type for Shannons Insurance.

It has remote for easy opening and closing .

Also has a self arm after 20 seconds after turning off at ignition.

This has to be wired correctly by some one who has knowledge of turbo timers

because it arms as the car is still running.

CAM (Car Audio Masters) is labeled on the remote and have had no problems with it.

Hope I have been of some help.

Cheers >_<

I'm asking the same question

What sort to get?

Have an R33 4 door

alarm features wanted

- window break sensors capable of picking up the door handle being let to spring back abruply when someone lets go due to the door being locked.

- shock sensors capable of picking up wheel lug nuts being hit when someone tries to steal the wheels.

- auto arm windows wind up and lock if forget to arm the car

- comes with a turbo timer built in

- tilt sensors for anti towing protection

- has a radio remote or gsm phone ability to let me know of an incident and identify the sensors activated to me.

- bonnet and door open sensors

- ultrasonic interior movement detectors

- anti hijack feature which kicks in 30 seconds later to utilise 3 point immobiliser

Sydney install required

Hi,

The Autowatch 446premier remote alarm has a 3 point immobiliser, built in turbo-timer, a range of intelligent sensors. Autowatch also have reliable GSM systems the Autocate 800, they also have Antihijack systems, Keypad immobilisers, window closers all of which have proven reliability.

But make sure the installation is done by Licensed and experienced technicians to ensure its reliability.

Cheers.

i got the mongoose m80am. its got the interior and exterior motion sensor, angle sensor (so no one can steal ur wheels without it goin off, or tow it!!!!), glass/shock sensor, window lift kit, remote central locking accomidates turbo timers 3 point immobilization and boot and bonnet protection and had it fitted for about 500 from memory. You can get pagers etc for them as well however theyre pretty sad only god for 100meters in line of sight and they are a seperate pager looking unit that clips on ya belt not part of the remote like others.

I think its the best alarm no problems what so ever, Talk to Baysidebluebnr34 from this forum he's the one that did mine and few others from here as well
