Hi all, I have been reading the threads on excessive fuel consumption (which applies to me also) and there are heaps of postings in relation to using an o2 sensor from an EL Ford. I spoke to a friend who works on a lot of performance vehicles and he stated NOT to use this, so I am now completely confused. He strongly advised against this sensor because a Turbo motor is so much different to a standard engine.

Can anyone please confirm that using this unit will not harm the motor (2.5t).

its a narrowband lambda sensor and nothing else. providing the unit is in the same scale and voltage is should work fine. i have an el falcon sensor in mine and it worked fine with stock ecu and powerfc. closed loop would correctly and acceptable fuel economy was achieved once changed

I have a slightly slightly used sensor for sale if you're interested? It tested and read out exactly the same as another brand plug that i'm currently using.

Wires are already stripped and crimped onto a factory plug.
