Hi guys,

So my car has left Japan yesterday, so im wondering when should I get in touch with a customs broker?

Now or when the car lands in Sydney?

Currently I have:

Bill of lading

TT receipt

Invoice

Copy of the DeReg

and Copy of import approval.

Still waiting on the original Jap DeReg document.

Anyone recommend a decent broker in Sydney? I used FPS lasttime, and well they were slow...

Never hurts to initiate contact early, so you're not left trying to rush around to obtain any further documentation once the ship docks. You can probably provide them with all the info now, including the shipping details and they should be right to handle the rest.
