Quick Question About Climate Control Unit!

Hey everyone

Ok heres a quick question regarding the climate control unit in my car (s2 r33)

The lights dont seem to turn on unless you actually press a button (eg- if you press fan button)

LCD works fine ie, it displays everything when its turned on.

So My question is, is this normal.

Obviously to me the lights are workin but only if you press it. So in the dark, you cant see which

button to press.

So thats my dilemma.

I have checked n re checked. no wires protuding somewhere etc etc.

Doesn't seem right to me.

Hmm, there should be a light on either side of the AC unit. I have had the drivers side one go before, but never a problem like you describe.

I assume you have cheaked the bulbs. Maybe check the contact points.

I havnt opened it up yet.. But it lights up only if you press the button.. Meh doenst bother me, but just wondering what can be done about it...

Or has anyone put LEDs in them.. Seen it done in a silvia before..
