Looking at bringing over a bunch of clear indicators for both the front bar and quarter panels.

And by popular demand - Tail-lights! Genuine S2. with the clear indicators and the little chrome bits oh GOODY!

The indicators for the front bar, are to suit 93-98 nissan altima, which uses them as parkers.

Quarter panel indicators will be N15 Nissan Pulsar.

clear side repeaters approx $40/pair +delivery

clear front bar indicators approx $30/pair +delivery

S2 tail lights haha beats me - anywhere in the $500 ballpark even, not sure.

How we're doing this -

give me an EOI, guys, as soon as you can, as well as an indication of when you would be able to purchase. I'll then get a price based on those figures, let you know, and wait for confirmations. i dont mind paying for them and then holding on to them for a few weeks til you are right to pay for them, then ill post them on.

S15's use a different plug design to the S2 stagea for the side repeaters, they fit the guard, but don't connect to the wiring without modification.

you need R34 nismo units.

I have a set in my car, were $80 on sale from powerplay imports in Sydney.

Justin...

If we can get a group-buy on the side ones through Powerplay, then that might be the go. Would someone like to organise this instead, or if you prefer, let me know if you want me to do it instead?

If it saves us the hassle of converting to $US, waiting for the items to be shipped, and works out cheaper in total, then it's a win-win for all of us.

Might be interested, timeline? But you then need to chase up a cheap source for clear tail lights,

timeline will be within the next few weeks/couple of months, depending on when everyone gets their act together and their orders in. Have to give everyone a chance to see the thread and make their decision.

I'll source the cheapest price i can find for the parts, based on how many are purchasing.then, once i see some deposits, ill buy em and get them sent over, then distribute once paid for.

the time line is entirely up to yourselves.

not sure of the availablity of euro/lexus style tail lights but i can look into... reckon theyd look tacky though.

im on it, buddy. am going to go through the same supplier for both, get it cheaper again as a bulk purchase, and save on postage. ill check out powerplay aswell. Im still confirming which type of side repeaters fit, both the clip AND the wiring. N14 pulsar...???

Series 2 already have clear side indicators.

i picked up a set of series 2 rears from yahoo auctions, ended up costing about $550 for the set including shipping

if i get a few names for S2/Clear tail-lights, ill look into that too. i had just figured that most of us have stretched budgets at the moment. if people are keen for them, ill add your names to the original post as well, and get prices.

Interested in a price for side flashers only, they would need to be cheap though... I have something interesting cooking for my front facers, has to do with my aftermarket front bar, I'll post up when my plan comes together...

    • Starting with issues 1 - 5, we have already run into a problem...!  Issue #4 contained 2x front brake calipers, instead of 1 caliper and 1x steering knuckle. Will have to call DeAgostini on Monday to sort it out. Anyway here's some photos.  Issue #1 is the front bumper, headlights and number plate. Issue #2 is the front wheel (with "We produced with spartan air." text on the centre cap!) and tyre, the front lip spoiler and cylinder head cover with ignition coils under the centre cover... which will never be seen again. Issue #3 is the bonnet and cylinder head. Issue #4 is the front strut, brake disc (with laser etched metal discs) and brake caliper. I stopped here because of the issue with the missing steering knuckle.  Next update will be #5 - #10 in a few weeks.
    • DeAgostini is one of a few companies that release quite large (the largest commonly available size actually) 1/8 scale models in a series of weekly issues over 100 - 110 instalments.  They release different models for different markets and DeAgostini Japan have release the BNR32 Skyline GT-R Nismo last month. I've made two of these 1/8 scale sized cars (one an R35 GT-R from 2012 - 2014, the other I'm just about halfway through, a BNR34 Skyline GT-R from the 2Fast 2Furious movie) so when this R32 was announced there was no way I could ignore it as it's my favourite out of all Nissans.  Each issue costs around $20 so it costs about $2.2K when completed. I suppose it is very expensive for what it is, but the quality and details are really very good, and there are many "gimmicks" like fully functioning exterior and interior lights operated with a remote control, working steering, all doors/bonnet/boot/fuel lid open and close, the side mirrors fold in and it even has a speaker for the engine revving sounds when you turn the lights on.  Each issue comes with a magazine that tells the story of the BNR32 Skyline GT-R Nismo from the first design stages of the BNR32 to Group A homologation and the various racing version that were run in the Japanese Group A and JGTC, and Australian Group A.  So I plan to update the build in this thread 5 issues at a time.  https://deagostini.jp/r32/?srsltid=AfmBOooKjxDc4EUK2rmXqMBPgyHfFJ24s4oEPJBNpnF-lFlsRoW0PE6P
    • As per title.. has anyone used so far? Keen to hear results, comparisons. In the market for a new mani for my new turbo. Any issues cracking?
    • Re read everything that has been written about this in this thread.. Let us know if you're still confused.
    • This would be a new pump with new gears. I'm just unclear on whether it's a good idea to run more oil pump flow if you don't actually need said flow. Oil level is set a minute or so after shutting off a warm engine so wouldn't the high RPM oil level in the sump end up lower all things equal? Plan is OEM clearances, main concern in my mind is whether the OEM pump can keep up with the flow requirements of any additional oil coolers.
