I concur with the grounding kit.

It would normally come with a blue box, which is basically full of capacitors. From there, it earths to predefined points around the engine bay.

Only useful if the blue box is there. See Satanic's R34GTT pics. He has one installed.

u could still use it without the box. wire the block type thing to the negative terminal on ur battery, and the other ends around the engine bay. i didnt think there was anything inside those little boxes, i thought they were just like a little distribution block. would be of most benifit if u got a big sound system etc.

yeah i think your right. It doesn't look like it came with the blue box. do you just wire to the motor and body parts ( earths )and the battery, is there anywhere specific i should wire to ? I think the bloke in japan had a big sterio because it had 2 kenwood head units linked together in it when i got it
