Taking out the car stereo-its quite straight forward.Take ashtray out theres 2 screws behind there unscrew.Take off gear stick knob then unclip the plastic surround which is around the gear shift it should pop straight up(disconnect lighter plug) .Next theres 2 screws just above where the other 2 screws were now that whole black front panel which surrounds the stereo and switches and goes across the bottom of the instrument cluster should clip outwards. You shouldnt have to disconnect any switches just move it enough to get around the panel to get to the 4 screws that hold the stereo in place.Take the 4 screws out and the stereo should come out.

Hope this helps you out dOoky. If not give me a PM and i can meet and help you out.

I dont think i`ve missed anything(well i hope not)

Matt

You've got that dook?...Let me make it a bit more simple for you to understand :P So take these 2 screws just above the other 2 screws (so where is the other 2 screws), and which screw to unscrew 1st ...how about the other 4 screws?.. are you counting the 1st 2 screws or the 2nd 2 screws or are they different 2 sets of screws? After you've unscrewed all these screws, the stereo should come out :devfu:

why dont you just buy Matt a bottle of Jim and he'll unscrews for you :D

We love you Bugalugs
