SMR33
Tip for the day...don't buy at BP Toowong (cnr Jephson & Sherwood Rds)...their fuel is the dearest around. Regular unleaded hovers between 133.9 and 135.9 and with Ultimate roughly 10c per litre more expensive, I may as well live in Rocky with Cy I can drive to Graceville (5 mins away) and pay the above prices for Ultimate and the other good thing about the BP at Graceville is that its a 7/11 and therefore WILL accept the BP fuel voucher from Action supermarket. The only other BP I have found that will accept the BP fuel vouchers is the BP on Fairfield Rd at Yerongpilly (sp?) or Yeronga (not quite sure of where the suburb changes). Ska
I got the whole docket thing worked out too, and we dont have to spend anymore than we should on groceries: 1. Shop at Action and buy normal stuff, no meat or fresh produce, get 4c/ltr off. 2. Use 4c/ltr docket at BP, there is only 1 BP in rocky that has ultamite, and get tax invoice. 3. Shop at local foodworks and buy meat and fresh produce only, which is usually the cheapest anyway, and get another 10c/ltr to 15c/ltr off the fuel receipt. Lucky everything is very close here in rocky, so instead of paying the usual ~150c/ltr for ultamite, I end up paying ~135c/ltr, which aint bad, too bad the Stagea is a tank and drinks faster than a russian on death row! Meh the price I pay for driving a slow volvo.............. gtr_r32_reddy
for those skyline owners in caboolture/morayfield... the best prices are usually at the Shell servo along morayfield road... yesterday they had fuel (normal 92octane) for $1.21 where as the caltex up the road had it for $1.36... i lined up for fuel at the shell yesterday, paid $1.31 for optimax... damn fuel prices... althought i get a pay increase in september just to accomodate for those prices and there aint no way i am going to be selling my gt-r... when i get it that is Tuesday is the best days in cab/morayfield for fuel... usually pretty cheap...
