Name 3.

(Im just interested to know what other ones you think of.)

ok.. this is petty  but well..

1. Transfer $5 automatically via netbank into an ING, etc savings account each week. You wouldn't even notice it, and bang, $250 at the end of the year. Stop stuffing around with stressing about petrol!

2. Don't send pointless SMS with "yes", or "no". More than 2 SMS, pick up the damn phone to say or organise what you need to - it's cheaper! Or if you are home, call from a home phone to a mobile, it's usually always cheaper. Save $10 a week easy.

3. Shop around for better phone plan, mobile plan, etc.. Don't waste money on fancy mobiles to be fashionable that you don't use half the features anyhow. Don't get locked into expensive plans for 2 years, etc by which time the phone is throw away anyhow.

4. Go to the butcher to buy your meat and or grocer to buy your fruit/veg. Supermarket meat costs a lot more for the convenience. I can bet you'd save a lot more than $5 a week on this one. Check the prices sometime.

5. Go to the supermarket and buy things that are on special in bulk. Not supid things, but just the things you buy week in week out anyhow that store.

6. Don't be lazy and buy junk food.. cooking real food is cheaper. Make your lunch each day rather than buying. $5 a day saved easy.

7. Wait until Tuesdays or so when the prices are always cheaper on petrol. You could then go find that place that has it that 3-5c cheaper on that day and then save maybe 60L x 5c = $3, but well, $3! CBF.

8. blah.. none of the above are particularly hard, there is plenty more.

Not that I really do all of these things :) but it's mainly just because I can't be bothered with the stuff around going out my way to save a few bucks, or sit there letting minor things worry me like "oh no, better not fill up here, it's 5c more expensive than if I went up the road!", and have a cry about the petrol prices. If I want to save money I'd do all the above before worrying about petrol.

It seems like petrol prices consumes everybody when there are more important things in life to worry about, and so many other ways people waste money in their day to day things. It's funny to me.

    • Did you get the sport or track ? From what the documentation says the uniclutch has a small amount of movement to disengage.  So your story of tricky pedal setup seems common.    Hopefully you got it bled up too, as the bite point moving around is usually either plates wearing in or air in the line.
    • There's always "MIG it up and grind it back".
    • Hey everyone, i have quite a few of these now and looking to sell my collection.    There’s many different brands and they all say something similar when powered up. if you would like an example of what they do and how they work i suggest searching JDM ETC READER into google or youtube.    I know some people dont like them but others want that final “JDM” piece for their project.  Below are a few examples of what i have.  feel free to contact me if you want more photos or have any questions. i also have a few that dont make noise but just light up to give the aesthetic.   $80 ea or will do a good discount if multiple are purchased. Located in South Australia and happy to post interstate if required! Thanks for your time!
    • I hope so.  It seems pretty nice. OEM feel the lot.
    • I wouldn't be surprised if this helps. And I wouldn't be surprised if it keeps changing for a bit after the new slave&hose go on, because I find that my clutch always does this sort of shenanigans after any serious dismantlery. And then it settles down after a few corrective tweaks such as you've already done.
