I've just completed some mild mods to my GTR...

* New turbos (Garrett 2860R)

* New intercooler (600x300x115)

* New split dump pipes

* 3" exhaust

* New excedy clutch

The problem is that when the car comes on boost, the dipstick pops out and some oil spills out. As far as i know this is caused by blowby. Does this mean my motor is on the way out ? I did a comp test and all cylinders were around the 160 mark. I think cylinder 2 was down to about 150...

I'm still yet to take the car for a dyno, and as far as i know the car is running standard boost.

Any ideas what the problem may be??

Thanks

I haven't got any catch cans fitted. Thats what I was going to do to stop the dipstick from popping out.

Where is the PCV valve? I suppose I can take a look at that..

the drivers side rocker cover breather pipe goes to it.

Mine popped out once, I cleaned the oil off the rubber stopper and inside the top of the tube with a bit of rag, hasnt popped out since. I will have my fingers crossed its that simple for you too ;)
